We had a good time spending it with my family. We went out to Kale & Britt's on Christmas Eve to play some games and have some snacks. Tiffany had asked if Po could go with her to her parents house on Christmas Eve, to open gifts and stuff, so Will let him go with her for a few hours while we were out at Kale's. Brittany's Mom came over and so did ours, to play games. We had a good time. Christmas morning, after opening presents, we went back out to Kale's for breakfast around 10:00. We do it every year. Kale and Britt make breakfast for everyone and we open gifts. We stayed till about 3:30, then headed home.

Cecil loves his Aunt Brittany... He loves to be cuddled.
We took Cecil with us out to their house Christmas Eve, and Christmas day. Kale and Britt's dog, Charlie, doesn't like Cecil. Every time Cecil even walks past him, he just growls and shows his teeth. He's never launched or tried to nip at Cecil, I think he's all bark. It's almost like he's an old man that just doesn't want to be bothered. And little Cecil just wants to play... It's pretty funny.

After we left, Po needed to go with his Mom, so she came and got him around 5:00. All in all, it was a good Christmas. Po got spoiled by everyone.
Porter had a present for Cecil, and wanted to give it to him early. He ended up giving it to him on the 23rd. It was so cute. Po was so excited to have a present for Cecil.
Will and I went to our Annual Christmas Luau on the 20th, and I have a bunch of pics to post from that. Here's a preview... Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!

Playing Soccer, the Snow, & Mirrors

That's right folks. Cecil plays soccer. Porter has a mini soccer ball that Cecil will chase up and down the hall... We'll hit it back and forth between us, and he'll chase it between us. He's so funny.
It snowed pretty bad over the weekend, and we took him outside to experience his first snow. He was kind of scared at first, but then started warming up to it. He would run up and down the sidewalk as fast as he could, and would hop through the snow like a little bunny.

Recently, he has found his reflection in the mirror. He goes crazy over it. He thinks it's another dog, so he barks his head off. It's pretty cute.

And then there was Cec... (pronounced Seece)

This little guy makes us so happy. I come home everyday to check on him at lunch and he is always so excited to see me. After he's done freaking out for about 5 minutes straight, then he cuddles on me... Wants me to hold him and kiss him, like a little baby. We got him some new bones last weekend too, and he loves them.. look at his tounge lickin' away...When I went home for lunch yesterday, the little stink-face had pulled one of my t-shirts through (underneath) the bathroom door. It was sitting right outside the door, which is in front of the laundry room.. and in his little reach. So, he pulled it through and put it on his potty pad and 'marked his territory.' I called Will to tell him about it, and to also tell him that we forgot to take the toilet paper roll off the 'hanger thingy' (of course he got a hold of that too...remember the last post..?..) anyway, Will thought it was HILARIOUS. He's the one who came up with the thought that Cecil was just marking his territory. I think he was just bored, and this was something fun to do, to occupy his time in his 'prison cell' of a bathroom. hahahahaha. I did laugh.. I have to admit. It was funny. Not so much when I was cleaning it up though... and he is trying to get attention from me at the same time...

On to something else... we have family pictures this weekend with my family. On Sunday, we are supposed to meet downtown around 2:00. Just my immediate family, my Mom, Kale-Britt & Charlie (their weenie dog), Ev & Nina, Me-Will-Po & Cecil... I really want all the dogs to be in the picture because I feel guilty only having Charlie and Cecil be there... that's not right, all of them should be there. So, I'll let you know what takes place...

Thanksgiving was 'ok'. We had it at my cousin Nicki's house. Her and her husband, Brian, were gracious enough to have our whole CrAzY family at their house. Bless their stupid, silly hearts... haha... just kidding. We had a good time. Everyone got there around 1:00, Will and I were about a half hour late, and my Mom, Ev & Nina showed about around 2:00 or so... That's the Fitch's for ya... We munched on a few snacks and things while we waited for our 'main course' to be ready. I think we probably ate around 3:00 or so.. I made my 7-layer bean dip that everyone loves, and it was gone pretty fast. My Mom brought her 'ScRaMbLe' mix (she always makes it around the holidays), it's kinda like a chex mix thing, but WWWAAAYYY better. Trust me. And a few other people brought snacky things. Dinner was pretty good. We all played games after and watched 'Elf'. (I LOVE that movie) One of my other cousin's kids fell asleep on my lap while we were watching the movie and playing a card game. He is sooo stinkin' cute. Anyway, all in all, it was fun getting together with everyone. By the way, it was my Mom's side of the family...

Don't know what we're doing for Christmas this year.. haven't decided. I'm sure we'll go up to Logan on Christmas Eve to see Will's family. They have a tradition on Christmas Eve to play this game they call the 'Christmas Game', and it's a LOT of fun. Last year, after that was over, we went up to the spend Christmas at the Cabin with Will's parents cuz they were here last year and usually aren't. For those of you who don't know, Will's parent have a cabin at Bear Lake, and we like to go up as much as possible when they are here. They teach overseas, and are gone most of the year. So, we don't see them very often. They left Aug '07 to go to Jakarta and they ended up HATING it, so they came home right after Thanksgiving '07. They were home (USA) till Aug of this year and now they are in Cairo, Egypt. Will and I would love to go visit them there before they come home for the summer. THAT WOULD BE FREAKIN' AWESOME! I've never been out of the country...

Anyway, so we'll probably spend Christmas Eve in Logan and Christmas Day with my family. In the past, we go to Kale & Britt's house in the morning and have breakfast and just hang out. Open presents and stuff. Just spend time together.

We put our tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. I love putting up the tree. I just like having it out. Porter was really excited to get it out and help decorate it. He kept begging me to. This first pic is with the flash OFF.. the second is with the flash ON.

WOWEE WOW WOW! I went and saw the Twilight movie last weekend (Saturday afternoon) with some of my BeAuTiFuL cousins. IT WAS AWESOME! I am jealous of Edward and Bella. Being young and infatuated with each other. aaawwwww. It's sort of refreshing.

Anyway, we were crate-training Cecil for the last few weeks. He has graduated to the bathroom. A little bit more freedom for him. Well, one day last week, I came home for lunch to check on him, and this is what I found...

And here he is waiting outside the bathroom, looking at me like,

"What? Did I do something wrong?"

He loves anything that comes out of the dryer. These are 'newly warmed' towells... I let him cuddle on them for a minute... Look at that face! How can I resist!?

Little stinker. He is so dang cute. I love how excited he gets when we come home. He has a great personality. Will gave him a new toy to play with.. a golf ball. And he loves it.

Little Cecil

I haven't posted about Cecil for a few posts now... So I thought I'd post some more pics of him. He is turning into a 'long dog' (hahaha) that's what I call our daschsunds (or weenie dogs). He is the cutest. And he has such a great personality on him. That is of course, except for at 2 in the morning when he thinks it's time to get up and play. Little turd. That happened last night. Will ended up staying up with him from midnight to about 1, then Will snuck out into the living room while I was sleeping, and left me to fend myself with Cecil. Sneaky Sneak. SO, I was up with Cecil till about 2 or so. Off and On. He would lay down and relax for about 10-15 minutes, then want to get up and play again. I just had to keep telling him NO, and try to settle him down. Finally he fell asleep around 3 and I had to get up at 5:50. Anyway, here are some pictures of him... I made him a little sweater..

Will & I are now carpooling...

So, there I was driving home from work yesterday... and I get side-swiped by some crazy lady driver going god-knows-how-fast. I was driving along in the right hand lane, and she was in the far left (on the freeway). All the sudden, I see her cutting across all 3 lanes to try and get off the exit that was on the right hand side of the freeway. It just so happens I was in her way. She didn't have her blinker on and it didn't seem like she even looked to see if anyone was in the way. She just darted across the freeway. Best part of it is.. she has no insurance. She hit the front, left side of my truck, and smacked the rest of her SUV into mine as we kept going.. I have quite a bit of body damage, and the alignment is off. Lovely. When we came to a stop, I was freaking out. Crying like a baby. IT SCARED THE SHI* OUT OF ME. I immediately called Will and told him what happened. She hit me pretty hard. I didn't really feel much pain or stiffness last night, but this morning my back is really bugging me. (More than normal.) (For those of you who don't know, I have Scoliosis.. and I pretty much just deal with the pain on a daily basis anyway..) Back to the story.. when we came to a stop, I couldn't control my tears, they just kept coming. I was so freaked out. I have NEVER been in an accident that severe. I've been in rear-end crashes, but that's about it. Anyway, she came and knocked on the window (while she was on her cell phone) and she asked if I was ok. That was it. Then she walked away. Looking back on the situation it seemed like she didn't even care that she almost killed me. I am surprised I didn't yell at her. I was so mad, but scared at the same time. And the BITC* doesn't have insurance. GREAT. Now what am I going to do. I can't afford to pay for my truck to get fixed. Anyway, here are some pics... the drivers side door will only open a few inches, so when I got home I had to crawl out the passenger side.
