The pool..... again....

We went to the pool again today.. It was too hot to stay for very long.. We were only there for about an hour. At least Po was entertained!



We went to the Bee's game last night, they played Iowa and WON! We had a great time. I love ballpark nachos! Porter had a hotdog, which looked really tempting. Will and I really enjoy getting out and doing those kinds of things. Earlier in the year, we had the opportunity to go to a few Jazz games and sit in the suites. Will was given tickets from his boss. The moon was out last night and it looked really cool. I tried to take some pictures of it.. but it wasn't very easy.

Anyway, I guess that's all I have to say for now!

Saturday, at the pool..

We went to the pool today! I know, I know.. a shocker.. We had a lot of fun. Porter was trying out some new tricks! He is such a fish! (I think he's growing gills..) Anyway, we really enjoy spending time outside in the summer. I don't want it to end, but I know the cold is right around the corner.. :( Will's company puts on a charity golf tournament every year, this year they contributed to the Multiple Sclerosis charity. It was in June and it was really fun! Will played and invited Max and Eric to play with him. They had a great time. My company sponsered one of the holes, and Cindy and I got to make up a game that all the players could participate in when they came to our hole. We had some good laughs! People loved our game. We had a huge 'clown-like' golf club and some soft golf balls that they had to hit onto a disc that was placed about 20 feet away. If they made it on there, they got a candy bar. I hope we get the opportunity to do it again next year. (Although, this time I'll bring sunscreen, I got fried being outside all day..)

Will is done with the 7th and last, Harry Potter book. He finished it in about 4 days. I am still working on the 6th book and it's killing him. He needs someone to talk to about the 7th book. LOL I went to a bookstore yesterday and they were giving away free Harry Potter posters! I took one for Porter, and he was soooo excited to see it. Will and him hung it on the wall in his room.

We are taking Po to a Bee's game tonight. It's at 7, but Will doesn't think Po will last the whole 9 innings... We'll see, I guess.

Kale and Britt's new house is really nice! Will and I drove out and saw it last Tuesday. It is so nice, and so big. I am really excited for them. I can't wait until Will and I get our own house! It will be a nice change from the apartment life..

The Harry Potter weekend..

The new Harry Potter came out this past weekend (as you all know, I'm sure), Will was like a little kid on Christmas when our doorbell rang Saturday around noon. It was the postman delivering his prize! He hasn't put the book down all weekend, except for when we had to leave the apartment. He's talked me into reading the 6th book so that I can know what goes on before I read the 7th. So, I have been a bit of a bookworm as well. (This is us at my company party on Saturday evening.)

We went to the pool at our apartmets on Saturday for a couple hours, then we had my work party to attend. (I think Will was in agony the entire time, not being able to read the book.) But, we did have fun. We go to the pool regularly every weekend. Most weekends we go both Saturday and Sunday just for a few hours, to relax and get some sun. If Porter is with us, he loves going to the pool. We look forward to it all week! He has turned into a fish this summer! Last summer we had to beg him to get in the water. There is this little resort up at Bear Lake that has a pool and we went quite a few times last summer, he always had to have a floaty on him or else he wouldn't go near the water. (Hence the picture of him with the floaty on him.) Now, we can't get him out of it! (The other pics are at our pool.)

Last Thursday was our last softball game! (bummer) Will and I played on a team that was set up by some co-workers at my company. (Meridian Title) We had a lot of fun playing. I think our team took either 3rd or 4th out of 8 teams. Pretty good, if you ask me! We would have taken 2nd, but we got creamed on Thursday. Bad. I don't think we ever took that bad of a beating the whole season. It was a fun season though!

My Mom came up to my work on Friday to meet me for lunch. We tried this new place on 7000 South and State called 'Amadeus Pizza'. It's really good. My Mom works with the lady who's husband runs the joint, so she told my Mom to come try it out. I think we'll be ordering from there again! mmmmmmm

The Clark's & The Fitch's

Well, they came,... they saw,... and they LEFT!! Already! I can't believe it, and neither can Will. Craig and Sande (his parents) were here for a week this summer! They have been teaching in Kuwait for the past 2 school years. They flew in on Monday night last week (7/9) and left on Friday night (7/13) on their way to Jakarta, where they will be for the next 2 school years! Last summer, they were home for about a month & a half. It's really hard not being able to see them more. Hopefully next summer they will stay longer! It was really nice being able to spend the week with them up at the cabin in Bear Lake, while they were here. I was able to take some great pictures of Will's family. It means a lot to Will and I, and I am sure the siblings as well. When we were up at the lake, Kelsey (Will's sis) and her kids, stayed there the entire time that we did. Lori (Will's oldest sis) and her kids, came up the last night and stayed. We had a lot of fun!

On another note, Po will be starting Kindergarten this school year. He is getting so big. The daycare/preschool that he attends had a Pre-K graduation for all the kids. It was really exciting for him.

My family is doing really well. I have posted some of their pics too.. Kale and Britt just got a new house! Everett has a new girlfriend.. (yay for Nina!) She is awesome. My mom is doing pretty well, just got central air in the house, which was lllloooonnnggg overdue. She is now working in the Bakery at Wal-mart and really enjoys it! And the four weiner dogs are still bein' weiners!!
